3 Gun
3-Gun matches are man on man competitions that test your speed and accuracy with a .22 Rim Fire rifle, shotgun, and handgun, on the same course of fire, using metal targets at 12 to 35 yards. No holster is needed as guns are staged unloaded at each shooting position and loaded as part of the competition. Ammo can be carried on the shooters belt (best and fastest) or staged with the guns. As DPC is a cold range
, all guns MUST be in cases and unbagged
only at a Range Officer's direction.
Match Dates
Matches are held the 2nd Sunday of every other month, starting at 9:00 am. It is recommended you arrive approximately half an hour before the start time, so you can register and get your Range Officer assignment. Matches last about four hours and are held in the Silhouette Bay.

Additional Information
Both members and non-members are welcome to shoot in 3 Gun matches. However, non-members are restricted to participating in the match and will not be allowed to shoot before or after the match, unless accompanied by a member in good standing.
There will be a sprint start, 12-15 yards, to the rifle segment where the shooter engages a number of knockdown steel targets with a barricade for support, safes the gun and move to the shotgun segment, loads as many rounds as needed to engage 5 steel knockdown targets, safes the gun and moves to the pistol segment where a number of steel targets will be engaged and a crossover pepper popper to indicate the winner.
Each run will be a minimum of 6 rifle, 5 shotgun and 7 handgun rounds with two runs guaranteed and more if the shooter advances in the pairings. One hundred rounds of ammo for each gun should get you through the match.
